TBI Education and Training
Translational Bioinformatics provides education to both M.S. graduate, Ph.D. doctoral, and post-doctoral students, as well as bioinformatics software training for COH translational researchers and clinical scientists on vendor software and open-source applications. Our recent L.A. regional genomics training events include WashU Epigenome Browser, UCSC Genome Browser, UCSC Xena Browser, EMBL-EBI, and NCBI. Training for vendor-based applications has covered Qiagen IPA/Ingenuity Pathway Analysis, IVA/Ingenuity Variant Analysis, OmicSoft, and Partek Flow genomics workshops. Resource and training materials, such as webinars, videos of events, and speaker slide decks are available to all COH staff on the TBI software and training SharePoint sites.
